The City of Adel is looking to revamp their historic downtown area, and the public is invited to provide input on what they’d like to see in the coming years.

On Tuesday, October 29th, the City and the Iowa State University planning and development class will be hosting a downtown concept open house. City staff and students will give a scenarios presentation, and they’re requesting feedback from the community on the future of downtown Adel. The event will run from 6-8 p.m. in the Adel Public Library’s community room, and attendees can come and go as they please during that time frame. Staff points out, it only takes around 20 minutes for someone to provide input, so they encourage everyone to stop by and contribute to the project.
