Dallas County ISU Extension and Outreach will be bringing their popular grant writing seminar to Adel soon, continuing their education of local businesses and organizations on how to properly seek funding for projects.
Extension is partnering with the Adel Partners Chamber of Commerce to offer Grant Writing 101 this Wednesday at the Adel Public Library. The workshop will offer hands-on training to attendees on worthwhile grants to seek for their specific projects, and how to write convincing proposals. The program will run from 9 a.m. – noon, and a light lunch will be served following the class. The cost to attend is $10 per person, and registration is required before October 21st. Attendees are also advised to bring a laptop or tablet for online activities during the class.
The Adel Chamber encourages local nonprofit organizations and businesses to take part in the seminar, as they believe it will greatly improve their chances in acquiring future funds that will help grow the community. For more information or to sign up for the program, email the Chamber at chamber@adelpartners.org.
