The West Central Valley Wildcats put up a season high in points last night but fell to the ACGC Chargers by a score of 50-14 on homecoming night. The Wildcats coming into the game had scored only 12 total points on the season, so 14 was a noticeable improvement against a very good opponent in ACGC.
The Chargers were able to take advantage early and often with their effective triple option attack. ACGC moves to 6-1 on the year after the victory.
The Wildcats have been playing with more spirit and a lot of toughness these last couple of weeks, and will look to continue to do that as they have two games left remaining in their season. They will be hosting senior night this upcoming Friday against Clarinda. Kickoff is slated for 7 o’clock.
