The West Central Valley Wildcats are having homecoming tonight as they take on Guthrie County rival ACGC Chargers. The Wildcats are still searching for their first win of the season but will have a tough task at the Chargers enter the game with a 5-1 record. The Wildcats have faced a brutal schedule on the year with the six opponents they have played so far having a combined record of 43-12, which is the toughest slate in the state of Iowa.
The Wildcats will look to continue to get better defensively, but two guys have been putting up solid seasons for the Wildcats, as sophomore Hunter Keller leads the team in total tackles at 46, and senior Justin Garcia is closely behind at 45.
The Wildcats will have a lot of things that they have been busy with this week for homecoming, but will hopefully try to be competitive against another great opponent tonight. You can listen to the game on our KKRF2 mobile stream on raccoonvalleyradio.com. Kickoff is slated for 7 o’clock.
