Monday, October 7th

12:31pm: Guthrie County requested Jefferson officers to be on the lookout for a vehicle involved in a Burglary in Guthrie County.

2:51pm: Lifeline Services advised of a Lifeline Pendant Activation near the 100 Block of North Wilson Ave. The officers were unable to locate anyone in need of assistance.

5:05pm: An officer assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of North Cedar Street.

6:32pm: Jackie Cram advised of a vehicle following her. She drove to the LEC and the vehicle followed her there. The officer spoke to both drivers. The other driver advised Cram had pulled out in front of him, nearly causing a collision.

6:45pm: Subjects brought a dog to the LEC they had captured running freely near Russell Park. The officer placed the animal in the Animal Holding Facility.

6:56pm: Dennis Smith reported a residence in the 100 Block of North Cedar Street was running a business as a car repair shop and they are continually revving up motors. He advised he has complained about the issue before, but nothing has been done. The revving had stopped before the officer’s arrival.

9:52pm: An officer locked his radar on a Speeding Motorcycle in the 900 Block of North Cedar Street. The officer turned around and attempted to perform a Traffic Stop with the motorcycle. The driver did not yield and continued driving. The officer temporarily lost sight of the motorcycle, but later discovered it had been parked in a vacant lot in the 700 Block of North Chestnut Street. The officer towed the motorcycle to Impound.
