Greene County is in action today in cross-country and volleyball.

The Rams send the girls and boys runners to Lake City for the South Central Calhoun Invitational. Greene County has had three of its last four scheduled meets rained out. Starting time today is 4:30 p.m. Jeff Lamoureux is the head coach of both the girls and boys.

Coach Chris Heisterkamp is hoping to see the volleyball Rams pull an upset tonight when they host Roland-Story (Story City) in the middle school gym in Jefferson. Varsity action is set for around 6:30 p.m. The Rams have an 11-15 overall record and 2-3 mark in the Heart of Iowa Activities Conference. The Norsemen are 17-5 overall and 2-2 in conference action.
