The Dallas County Board of Supervisors will convene twice this week for a regular meeting and special session.

Tuesday’s meeting will begin at 9 a.m., and the first item on the agenda is the latest update on the new law enforcement center. Included with the update will be consideration of a pay application to All Makes for the furnishings, as well as the 20th pay application from the Samuels Group for construction. Following that, the Board will consider the certificate of substantial completion and release of retainage for the courthouse renovation project. Next, there will be an update on Dallas County ISU Extension and Outreach, as well as further discussion on the commitment letter to the Healthcare Coalition. Tuesday’s meeting will conclude with discussion and possible action on the process for disposal of vacated Secondary Roads Department buildings.

The Supervisors will then meet Thursday at 2 p.m., and the only item on the agenda is the canvass of the primary election for the City of Urbandale. Both Tuesday and Thursday’s sessions will be held in the Board of Supervisors meeting room in downtown Adel.
