Pet owners needing their furry friends to be microchipped can do so tomorrow in Jefferson.

People for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS) of Greene County is hosting a microchip clinic from 10am-noon at the new location of the Jefferson Veterinary Clinic, in the Greene County Development Corporation east business park along Gallup Road. The cost per animal is $20. Microchipping helps locate a missing pet.

Appointments are appreciated by contacting PAWS either by email with pawsofgreenecounty@hotmail.com, calling them at 515-386-9814 or messaging them on Facebook. PAWS requests those who call to leave a voicemail and a PAWS volunteer to respond to confirm the appointment. Walk-ins are also welcomed, but expect a short wait.
