During a special meeting held Thursday evening, the West Central Valley School Board accepted the resignation of Superintendent Lance Ridgely, effective at the end of his contract on June 30, 2020. Ridgley was granted a leave of absence and principals Rusty Shockley and Anthony Lohse will assume responsibilities of co-superintendents. Listen to Raccoon Valley Radio for the full story tomorrow.
The West Central Valley School Board will meet for a special session today.
The meeting will begin with the Board considering approval of the agenda in the high school commons area, followed by a closed session to evaluate the professional competency of an individual whose appointment, hiring, performance, or discharge is being considered, to be held in the conference room. Finally, the Board will consider action on Superintendent Lance Ridgely’s contract in the high school commons area.
The Board meets at 6 p.m. at the high school in Stuart.
