In addition to Friday night being a home game against Creston for Adel-DeSoto-Minburn High School, it’s also been dubbed Teacher Appreciation Night.
The celebration is being organized by the parent group “MOMs of Fall,” and there is a suggested dress code for fans at the game. Students are to wear pink, which will serve the dual purpose of showing appreciation for the teachers and also recognizing National Breast Cancer Awareness Month. Meanwhile, the rest of the fans are encouraged to wear their brightest neon colors to the game, and they can also purchase light up accessories from the MOMs of Fall. The event is sponsored by John Harada with Farm Bureau Financial, as well as Azalea Lane Boutique.
Gates at Tiger Stadium will open at 4 p.m. tomorrow for the freshman football game, with the varsity kickoff scheduled at 7 p.m. If you can’t make it, be sure to listen to live play-by-play of the ADM versus Creston game on FM 107.9 KKRF, online at RaccoonValleyRadio.com, and on the free mobile app KKRF1.
