Greene County fans may want to arrive at Linduska Field in Jefferson early on Friday night for the Homecoming football game with Kuemper Catholic (Carroll). The Homecoming Queen and King will be crowned Friday afternoon outside the Greene County Courthouse downtown, and the Court will be introduced at Linduska Field at 6:45 p.m. The Paton-Churdan Homecoming Court will be introduced as well.

The football game will have the Class 2A top five ranked and 5-0 Rams hosting the 1-4 Knights. Kickoff is at 7 p.m. with coverage on KG98 and streaming on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com starting at 6 p.m. The Rams were 5-0 last year and the Knights 2-3 when the teams met in Carroll and Kuemper Catholic won, 16-8. Kuemper has lost its last four games, while Greene County has won eight regular season games in a row dating back to 2018.
