Vicky Lautner

After over 21 years of service to the City of Jefferson, Parks and Recreation Director Vicky Lautner is calling it a career.

A retirement party for Lautner will be on Thursday, October 3rd from 3-5:30pm at the Greene County Community Center. Parks and Rec Board Member Steve Haupert describes the Board’s relationship with Lautner.

“It’s been a real pleasure to work with Vicky over the past 21 years she’s been here (and) done a great job. (She) Has kept the rec center in great shape. We just have a lot of gratitude for what she’s done for the community, for the rec center and for all the programs that have been run over the years.”

The community is encouraged to come out and celebrate Lautner’s retirement and refreshments will be served. The new JPRD Director is Denny Hammen, who was hired in August.
