The West Central Valley Cross Country Teams will be competing in Adel today at the Hillcrest Country Club as they look to compete against some good area competition. The competition was scheduled for yesterday, however due to wet conditions on the course the race was pushed back for today.

The Wildcats and Lady Wildcats teams are trying to continue to improve their times after having their last two races cancelled due to rain. They haven’t competed in a race since September 5th, so having a 19 day layoff is not easy for runners to wait for the next race.

It should be a great race for the team with schools from larger classes competing in the event, so it should help the teams get prepared for conference meets later in the season when they compete today.
