The ADM women’s volleyball team has played in a lot of close matches this year as their record is currently sitting at 5-7. Now the Lady Tigers have done the distance in sets in eight of those twelve matches, with their record being 3-5.
Being in a lot of matches that comes down to the wire can only help the Adel-Desoto-Minburn Lady Tigers. When you go into a final set that determines whether you win or lose, the pressure goes up even more. Being used to that pressure especially in bigger matches as the season goes along will definitely be a big positive for the Lady Tigers.
The term “clutch” is used all the time for various sporting terms, but if the Lady Tigers can keep improving the “clutch” gene, their might be major dividends for the team come postseason time. The Lady Tigers play again next Tuesday in Adel against Ballard.
