Tuesday, September 17th

1:05am: An officer performed a Traffic Stop with a speeding vehicle in the 1800 Block of North Elm Street. The officer’s investigation led to the arrest of Garrett Lee Rysavy, 21 of Jefferson for, “OWI 1st Offense – Serious, Fail to provide Proof of Financial Liability – Simple, and Excessive Speed (50 in a 30)-Simple.”

6:34am: A caller advised of a careless Driver heading East towards Jefferson on 220th Street. The vehicle was stopped by a deputy outside of the city limits.

8:07am: Natural Wonders Daycare workers spoke with an officer with concerns for the welfare of a parent.

8:19am: The Greene County Middle School reported a female juvenile had left the school without permission. She was later located nearby speaking with a parent.

9:24am: Kyann Brown reported a male subject had her wallet in his vehicle, but would not return it to her. The officer retrieved the wallet from the male and Brown picked it up at the LEC.

11:10am: An officer performed a Funeral Escort.

126pm: An officer responded to a Two Vehicle Collision in the parking lot at 300 North Elm Street. A 2013 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by Larry Anderson

of Jefferson, struck another vehicle as it pulled into the drive through lane. The 2014 Chevrolet Silverado, owned and operated by James Vaughn of Yale, suffered a reported $1500.00 in damages. The Anderson vehicle had a reported $500.00 in reported damages.

8:10pm: A Traffic Stop in the 1600 Block of North Grimmell Road resulted in Caleb Byerly of Churdan being cited for, “Excessive Speed.”

9:38pm: An officer responded to an Alarm Activation at the Rec Center, located at 204 West Harrison Street. An employee had accidentally tripped the alarm.

11:06pm: An officer located an Open Door while conducting Business Door Checks at 600 East Lincoln Way Street. The officer secured the building after checking inside.

11:36pm: Officers were called to 108 East Central Avenue, lot 54 for a reported Sexual Assault. The officers are investigating the reported event.
