The West Central Valley Wildcats have been hurt by the injury bug these last couple of weeks as they have completed one third of their football season so far. According to head coach Shaen Polasky, in week one they had four kids that went out with concussions or injuries and then they had other people on the sideline which mean there were a lot of players out for the Wildcats due to injury.

The Wildcats have been focused on practices the fundamentals during practice due to the fact that they have a younger team. As West Central Valley nears the halfway point of the season, one of the biggest focuses this year will be trying to get out of the year as unscathed as possible, and hopefully avoid the injury bug that has affected them so far this year.
