Whether you’re looking to transfer your business from home to downtown, or are looking to expand outside the Des Moines metro, you can check out the many possibilities the City of Stuart has at their first-ever “Start-Up in Stuart” Available Buildings Tour.

From 11:30 a.m-5 p.m. tomorrow, the public is welcome to check out approximately 10 commercial spaces in Stuart and learn about lease or purchase availabilities. This is a come-and-go event, and will conclude with a social hour at the Depot from 5-6:30 p.m. Stuart Economic Development Director Kristen Renslow says one economic advantage the City has is its proximity to Interstate 80, “And I think our business owners, they have a really (good) sense of community, and they’re just really great people to have around if you would potentially become a business owner in Stuart. So I think that would be the most appealing thing for having a business in Stuart, is the existing business owners and how they treat their customers and people coming in to visit.”

The available buildings tour is being hosted by the Stuart Enterprise for Economic Development, Stuart Chamber of Commerce, and Midwest Partnership. Participants can register in advance for the free event on the City’s website, or anytime during the event at the Depot. For a link to register, visit here.
