Friday, September 13th
7:27am: A deputy investigated a single vehicle rollover accident on 240th Street near E Avenue. Dominic Johns 16 of Scranton lost control of a Pontiac Grand Prix. The vehicle rolled onto its top in the south ditch. The Scranton Fire Department and Greene County Ambulance also responded to the scene. Nobody was transported by ambulance. Dominic was cited for a violation of a school permit and failure to maintain control. The estimated damage to the car was around 3,500 dollars.
9:04am: A deputy investigated suspicious activity in the 800 block of 110th Street.
1:45pm: James Cunningham 44 homeless was booked into the jail for a violation of probation.
6:36pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of cattle out on 330th Street near B Avenue.
6:39pm John Sabus 44 of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.
7:53pm: A deputy assisted with trying to locate a missing dog in the 1000 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.
8:02pm: A deputy investigated a gas drive off in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.
8:37pm: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with a verbal argument at the Wild Rose Casino.
9:04pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near Orchard Avenue.

12:37am: Maurice Johnson 26 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for driving while suspended and possession of a controlled substance 2nd offense.
1:17am: A deputy investigated a noise complaint in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.
2:21am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with an arrest I the 1700 block of West Westwood Drive.
4:25am: Christopher Andrew 22 of Scranton was booked into the jail for operating while under the influence 1st offense.
1:49pm: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 900 block of W Avenue.
3:45pm: Jeffrey Steele 52 of Des Moines was booked into the jail for failure to pay child support.
4:46pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1500 block of 235th Street.
7:10pm: A deputy investigated an open door in the 600 block of North 18th Street, Grand Junction.
7:17pm: A deputy arrested Douglas Owen 37 of Fort Dodge for an arrest warrant to serve a sentence.
8:51pm: Douglas Owen 37 of Fort Dodge was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

12:55am: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 100 block of 190th Street.
1:22am: A deputy investigated an alarm in the 500 block of North 16th Street, Grand Junction.
1:50am: A deputy removed a deer from the roadway on 220th Street near E Avenue.
11:43am: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in the 500 block of I Avenue.
12:44pm: A deputy investigated an illegal burning complaint in the 1100 block of Eagle Street, Scranton.
3:17pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 1300 block of K Avenue.
3:35pm: A deputy investigated a complaint of a leaking anhydrous tank on Neola Avenue near 290th Street.
3:35pm: A deputy conducted a welfare check in the 500 block of R Avenue.
7:27pm: A deputy investigated a driving complaint in Scranton.
7:40pm: A deputy investigated suspicious activity on E Avenue near the railroad tracks in Scranton.
7:47pm: A deputy investigated a verbal domestic in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.
9:07pm: The Sheriff, a deputy, and Jefferson fire responded to lost female on the Raccoon River near Squirrel Hollow Park. The female was located after about an hour and half of searching.
In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
