The Perry City Council will convene Monday evening in regular session.
The first action item will be consideration of the third pay request for the new hangar, taxilane, and apron for the Perry Municipal Airport. Following that, the Council will have discussion and possible action on a resolution authorizing the purchase of a new snow plow, as well as a resolution waiving the building permit fee for the building trades class at Perry High School. Next, they will consider awarding a bid for the 2019 Wiese Park trail improvement project, and a quote for the mechanical equipment replacement for the McCreary Community Building.
Other items on the agenda include: a fireworks display request for this year’s Homecoming festivities at the high school; an appointment to the Planning and Zoning Commission; and the 2019 fiscal year Iowa Department of Transportation street finance report. Finally, the Council will have the second readings for ordinances, including establishing Central Heavy Industrial as a new zoning district, and rezoning a portion of the downtown area from Heavy Industrial to Central Heavy Industrial.
The meeting will be held at 6 p.m. Monday in the Clarion Room at Perry City Hall.
