Last week, the West Central Valley Wildcat football team were overmatched against a talented Des Moines Christian squad. This week, they look to bounce back when they travel to Earlham for a week two matchup against the Cardinals.

Last year these two played a dandy of a football game at West Central Valley, as the Cardinals barely took the game over the Wildcats 25-22. Both teams have changed a lot over the last year but both have similar styles of offense. Both like to dominate the time of possession offensively to keep the defense off the field.

It has the potential to be a more evenly matched game than last week for the Wildcats, so we will see what they’ve learned in practice this last week as they go for their first win of the season.
