The AC/GC volleyball is off to the best start in program history, mostly in part to their sophomore superstar in the making.
Chloe Largent led the team last year in kills with 348 in 86 sets in her freshman campaign. That mark was good enough for 13th best in class 2A. In addition to the heavy volume of kills, Largent also cracked the top-10 in kills per set as she played in less sets than a lot of the players in front of her. So far in the early season, Largent has built off her incredible debut season. Entering Wednesday, Largent had 82 kills in 12 sets. That mark is second in the entire state and first in class 2A. The only player in the state with more kills than Largent has also played in more that double the sets.
The Chargers are riding an impressive five-match winning streak to start the season. AC/GC will hit the court again Tuesday to face Woodward-Granger.
