2:02am: A deputy assisted the Jefferson Police Department with 2 arrests in the 200 block of West Adams Street.

3:20am: Juan Guzman 32 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for assault.

4:35am: Joshua Geigle 27 of Jefferson was booked into the jail for an arrest warrant for failure to appear out of Chickasaw County.

5:12am: A deputy assisted with getting horses back in the fence on 130th Street near S Avenue.

7:30am: William Becker was booked into the jail to serve a partial sentence.

5:56pm: A deputy investigated a child custody issue in the 1000 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

7:00pm: A deputy arrested Melynda Weltha 43 of Grand Junction for driving while revoked and a no contact violation.

7:08pm: A deputy attempted to locate cattle that were reported in the 1800 block of 195th Street.

9:35pm: A deputy investigated a driving compliant on 220th Street near X Avenue.

9:45pm: Melynda Weltha 43 of Grand Junction was booked into the jail for a no contact violation and driving while revoked.

Saturday, August 31st

9:02am: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 220th Street near W Avenue.

1:26pm: A deputy assisted an ambulance with a medical call in the 1500 block of 130th Street.

1:56pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 4-wheeler on 140th Street near J Avenue.

1:58pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on 190th Street near I Avenue.

2:03pm: A deputy investigated a theft in the 1000 block of East Railroad Street, Grand Junction.

4:18pm: A deputy and the Scranton Fire Department responded to a vehicle fire in the 1100 block of State Street, Scranton.

6:47pm: A deputy investigated a civil issue in the 200 block of Adaza Street.

6:57pm: John Sabus of Churdan was booked into the jail to serve a sentence.

7:47pm: A deputy investigated an assault in the 400 block of Head Street, Churdan.

10:16pm: A deputy assisted an Iowa State Trooper with a traffic stop on 220th Street near Kirkwood Avenue.

5:17am: A deputy assisted with cattle out on S Avenue near 240th Street.

9:13am: A deputy investigated a scam in the 700 block of East Main Street, Grand Junction.

12:41pm: A deputy investigated a trespass complaint in the 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

5:47pm: A deputy assisted the Dallas County Sheriff’s Office with locating a possible stolen vehicle in Grand Junction.

10:24pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned vehicle on U Avenue near 260th Street.

Monday, September 2nd

12:05am: A deputy investigated a domestic in the 2300 block of 260th Street.

1:54pm: A deputy investigated a domestic near 305th Street near S Avenue.

6:31pm: A deputy investigated a car deer accident on D Avenue near 120th Street. Holly Feldman 48 of Manson struck a deer with her 2013 Toyota Avalon causing around 2,500 dollars damage.

8:13pm: A deputy investigated an assault in thee 900 block of Locust Street, Scranton.

10:30pm: A deputy investigated an abandoned 911 call near M Avenue and 290th Street.

In all cases when a defendant has been charged, this is merely an accusation, and all defendants are presumed innocent until proven guilty.
