Greene County High School senior Tieryn Tucker likes to keep busy. As both a member of the girls’ cross-country team and a football cheerleader, it’s likely she has no trouble occupying her time. Raccoon Valley Radio asked Tucker why she does both. “I like the cross-country girls and boys. They’re really nice! They’re a fun group, and I don’t really spend a lot of time with most of them outside of the season. I’ve grown up with most of the cheer girls, and I do FFA with them. It’s two different groups and I like being around everyone!”
Tucker and her cross-county teammates run tomorrow at the 5 X 80 Golf Course south of Menlo at the West Central Valley Coed Invitational. She’ll have the cheerleading uniform on Friday night when the tenth ranked Greene County football team goes to Nevada to face the Cubs. Coverage of the football game starts at 6 p.m. with kickoff at 7 p.m. on KG98 and streamed on www.raccoonvalleyradio.com.
