Tomorrow is Labor Day, and Guthrie County residents are reminded of several offices being closed to recognize the holiday.

The Transfer Station, Mary J. Barnett Memorial Library in Guthrie Center, Panora Public Library, and Stuart Public Library are all closed tomorrow. Stuart, Guthrie Center, and Panora city halls and the Guthrie County Courthouse will also be closed. Garbage for Guthrie Center and Lake Panorama residents will not be picked up until Tuesday, and Panora residents may see some delays in garbage pick up Tuesday. The Guthrie County Extension Office is also closed from now through Tuesday, September 3rd. All post offices will also be closed tomorrow, as well as most banking institutions.
