An Atlantic-based company is expanding its business to Guthrie Center, with plans to add 25-35 jobs.
Precision Components purchased the former Bob and Jo’s RV Center property located at 2102 State Street. The business supports aerial rental companies with aftermarket replacement parts, and the new facility is intended to recondition construction telehandler equipment. Guthrie Center Development Corporation President Dennis Flannery comments on the new business, “We’re excited about that, it’s going to be taking over an existing building that’s been vacant for a little while and it’s going to bring new jobs to the community, with the assistance of the City and Midwest Partnership and our development group.”
Midwest Partnership Executive Director Sarah Gomez says Precision Components is a great fit for the Guthrie Center community, offering high paying jobs and a quality product for a large industry that serves Iowa and surrounding states. Job interviews are underway for mechanics, assemblers, painters, and sanders. To apply contact the Precision Components HR Department at 712-243-6200 or 641-740-2997 or apply online.
