The Adair Police Department is seeking the public’s help in finding two suspects involved in an attempted burglary that occurred over the weekend.

According to Police Chief Brad Wendt the incident occurred at about 6:05 a.m. Sunday at Nichols Storage in Adair. Security camera footage showed that two females arrived at the storage facility in a black Chevrolet Malibu and cut a lock to a unit, but then appeared startled and left without stealing anything. Anyone with information regarding the suspects are encouraged to contact the police department at 641-742-3751 or the Adair County Sheriff’s Office at 641-743-2148.
