A reminder that today is a fundraiser for a city in Greene County that will be celebrating its sesquicentennial next year.

The Rippey Sesquicentennial Celebration 2020 Committee is hosting the event later today at 5:30pm in the community room. The festivities begin with a free-will dinner with pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, desserts and beverages. The Town and Country Band will perform a free concert at 6:30pm, followed by a pie auction during intermission at 7:15. 

All proceeds will go to the planning for activities during the 150th event on August 1, 2020.
