The Adair and Guthrie Center Chambers of Commerce teamed up this year to welcome the Adair-Casey/Guthrie Center school staff back Wednesday morning.
The Chamber volunteers served coffee, muffins, and other breakfast treats to the teachers and staff at Guthrie Center High School. Everyone then gathered in the auditorium for some introductions. Superintendent Dennis McClain introduced this year’s new staff, and then each of the volunteers from both Chambers introduced themselves. Guthrie Center Chamber President Kristen Crouthamel mentioned that with the five new businesses that have opened in town in the past year, the Chamber appreciates the patronage of those in the district, and wished them a great 2019-2020 school year. The bell will ring for kids to begin classes at both districts tomorrow.
