Drought conditions have increased over the Raccoon Valley Radio-listening area this week.

The latest U.S. Drought Monitor report shows drought conditions for much of central and southeast Iowa. Most of Guthrie County, the southwest portion of Dallas County, and the northeast portion of Adair County is rated at moderate drought. The remaining portions of Dallas and Guthrie counties as well as Greene County is rated as abnormally dry.
