The Greene County School Board recently approved the school district’s sports medicine coverage for the upcoming school year.

21st Century Rehabilitation continues to be the sports medicine services provider to Greene County School District student-athletes. 

21st Century will have a certified athletic trainer/physical therapist at every home and away varsity football game and home junior varsity football games. The contract also covers all home varsity sports, as well as the postseason for football, soccer, softball and baseball. A certified trainer will also be on site for all home football, wrestling and track meets for the middle school. 

The school district will continue to utilize 21st Century Rehab’s concussion prevention program. Student-athletes will have a concussion baseline test done before their respective season begins, using the ImPact concussion software.
