The City of Rippey is getting ready for its 150th birthday and it begins with a kick-off fundraiser.

The Rippey Sesquicentennial Celebration 2020 Committee invites everyone to a fundraiser event on Saturday, August 24th at 5:30pm. The event starts with a dinner consisting of pulled pork sandwiches, baked beans, desserts and beverages for a free-will donation. The meal will be followed by a free performance of the Town and Country Band at 6:30pm. Then at intermission, around 7:15, will be pie auction. All activities take place in the community room.

All proceeds will go to the planning for activities during the 150th event on August 1, 2020. No pre-registration is necessary.
