Hy-Vee is investigating a payment card data incident.
Officials say they are looking into a security incident involving their payment processing systems that has to do with transactions at some of the company’s fuel-pumps, drive-thru coffee shops and restaurants, like the Market Grilles, Market Grille Expresses and Wahlburger locations. Hy-Vee says they believe they have stopped the unauthorized transactions.
Officials urge customers to closely monitor your payment card statements for unauthorized activity. Contact the financial institution if you notice anything suspicious on your statement.
Hy-Vee is working with federal law enforcement, leading cybersecurity firms and payment card networks on the investigation. Hy-vee will inform customers once they have determined specific timeframes and locations of the payment card incidents.
