Greene County’s middle school gym in Jefferson is the site of a five-team high school volleyball scrimmage today. Starting time is 4 p.m. as the Rams welcome Perry, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Ft. Dodge St. Edmond, and Southeast Valley (Gowrie).

Chris Heisterkamp is in her second season as head coach of the Greene County volleyball program. The team won seven matches overall last season and went 2-5 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play, good for sixth place in the eight team league.

Junior hitter Lily Muir earned second team All-Conference honors a season ago, while senior setter Aubrey Heupel was on the HOIAC honorable mention list.
