The public is invited to Greene County High School to celebrate the fall season with the fine arts department.

Starting at 4pm, everyone can enjoy the hard work that students have done in various art classes with their work displayed in the entrance of the high school.

Art teacher Diane Kunzler says usually toward the end of a trimester, she will put student’s projects on display to show off their work.

Then at 7:30pm will be the fall choir concert.  Vocal Director David Heupel says there will be several performances tonight in the auditorium.  The 85-member concert choir will sing five selections and then 22 of those students will perform this year’s all-state audition pieces.

Heupel is excited for the first concert for his kids because he says they all have been working hard and it’s a chance for him to show what they’ve done so far this year.

He points out that his 22 students will be auditioning for all-state this Saturday at Harlan.
