The AC/GC Volleyball team competed at the Central College volleyball camp this past weekend, on Friday and Saturday. Friday consisted of pool play and Saturday saw the format change to a tournament format.
“It was a lot of volleyball, we ended up playing 8 games, best 2 out of 3,” AC/GC head coach Trevor Irwin said. “We works on a ton of stuff, we played schools from all over the state, which is really good competition wise. The girls had a blast, an we are very grateful to attend such a good event.”
The Chargers ended up playing some notable teams in the tournament, including the Central College freshman volleyball team. The Chargers also played against South Central Calhoun, Indianola, and a handful of other Class 3A/4A schools as well.
