A Guthrie Center man was killed in a one vehicle accident in Fremont County.

According to Iowa State Patrol, at about 5:59pm on Friday, Daniel Sheeder was traveling eastbound on Waubonsie Avenue, east of Bartlett in Fremont County.  His 2002 Ford F-250 pickup entered the south ditch then crossed the roadway and went into the north ditch, striking a utility pole and rolled two times.

Officials say the 54 year-old was later pronounced dead and appears to have experienced a medical issue during the accident.

Reports show he was wearing his seatbelt at the time of the accident.
