This coming Wednesday, the Perry Chamber of Commerce invites current or potential business owners to the next event in their Better My Business series.
The program is the Business Model Canvas Workshop, which is offered through the Small Business Development Center. Jenica Johnson with the SBDC will take attendees through formulating a business plan, helping people communicate their ideas and guiding their business decisions. Chamber Director Lynsi Pasutti says the workshop should be beneficial to business owners of all different kinds, regardless of where they are in formulating their plans. “So it’s more brainstorming than actually writing through the process. So it’s a great chance to work in a facilitated fashion, network with other business owners or potential business owners, and work through some of the components of a business plan so that you can be ready for the next step in either growing your business or starting a business.”
The Business Model Canvas Workshop will be held on Wednesday, July 31st at 5:30 p.m. in the Town/Craft Building conference room, and you don’t have to be a Chamber member to attend the free event. Registration is requested, and you can do so by stopping in or calling the Chamber office at 515-465-4601.
