Time is running out to get your scare on in Perry.
The Perry Volunteer Fire Department has once again put together their Haunted Forest and everyone is invited to come check it out.
Whether you want to experience something really scary or just want to enjoy the fear-free activities like face painting and balloon animals the attraction has something for everyone.
It’s open weekends starting at 7pm, though this Saturday there will be a tamed-down children’s matinee starting at 6pm.
The cost is $5 per person, with children under the age of 12 getting in for $3 and all proceeds going to support the fire department.
Chamber of Commerce President Misty Von Behren says why head out of town for a haunted house when we have one right here. She says the fire department is all volunteer so this is a great opportunity to support them and take in a festive event.
The haunted forest is located at 16th and North Streets, along the east end of Wiese Park.
