imagesThe West Central Valley Booster Club has met its goal for the Victory Bell fundraiser that it initiated at the beginning of the school year.

President Brenda Dudley says the Booster Club recently sold its 100th engraved brick this week, and they’ve hit their $1,000 fundraising goal.

There are still 400 total brick slots available at the 137 year-old Victory Bell however, and Dudley hopes local residents will continue showing support for West Central Valley athletics.  A brick costs $100 and allows for one to three lines of engraving with up to 18 characters per line.  Donations for the fundraiser are tax deductible.

Those in the local area who would like to participate in the Victory Bell fundraiser should contact Dudley at 515-205-0081.

In other Booster Club news, during halftime of tonight’s home football game, they will be honoring the eleven partners–be they individuals or businesses–that allowed the club to purchase the new LED screen for the scoreboard at the new athletic complex.  The screen cost more than $42,000.
