The judicial district that includes Greene County has a new appointed judge.
Governor Kim Reynolds has appointed Christopher Polking of Carroll to be a new district court judge in Judicial Election District 2B. Polking earned his undergraduate degree from Tufts University and then received his law degree from the University of Minnesota Law School. He was practicing law at the Polking Law Office in Carroll and has previously worked part-time as a judicial magistrate in Carroll County.
Along with Greene County, the Judicial Election District 2B includes Boone, Calhoun, Carroll, Hamilton, Hardin, Humboldt, Marshall, Pocahontas, Sac, Story, Webster, and Wright counties.
