The Panorama baseball team was swept in a doubleheader at Van Meter Tuesday by scores of 11-1 and 7-3.

The first game was a runaway early with Van Meter scoring five runs in the first inning and four in the second to go up 9-0. They were held scoreless for the next three innings but got two more in the bottom of the sixth to end the game on the mercy rule.

Game two was a much closer affair with both teams getting on the board quickly and Van Meter going up 4-3 after two innings. That would remain the score the rest of the way until the Bulldogs were able to put up three runs in the seventh to seal the victory.

The Panthers will close out the regular season with another tough opponent tonight as they host Coon Rapids-Bayard.
