Todd Gordon officially began his duties as Activities Director for the Greene County School District on Monday, July 1. The veteran educator is a Griswold, IA native who has worked in Treynor, Manning, Carlisle, and for the previous four years at Des Moines Roosevelt.

Gordon talked with Raccoon Valley Radio about what he is doing early on. “Well, a lot of what I’ve done so far in addition to trying to meet everybody, is starting my day in the weight room watching the kids work out. That’s always fun to see how hard they’re working, and coaches working with them. A lot of what I’ve been doing in the office is just trying to make sure our schedules are where they need to be. There are some conflicting things out there, so we’re trying to make sure those are in line, especially for the Fall, but working on Winter as well, and Spring, and even Summer (2020).”

He and his wife, Deb, live in Jefferson.
