A sixth inning surge helped the Saydel softball team beat Panorama 9-7 on Monday.

The Lady Panthers jumped out to a quick 2-0 lead after a bases loaded single by Jazmyn Sellers in the top of the first inning, but Saydel took the lead by scoring three runs in the bottom of the third.

Panorama tied it up in the fourth and the teams exchanged runs in the fifth to go to the sixth inning knotted at four. Panorama went back in front in the top of the sixth thanks to an RBI double from Lydia Knapp and a two-run home run by Kennedy Andersen, but Saydel answered with five runs in the bottom of the half to get the win.

Panorama will look to bounce back tonight on the road at West Central Valley.
