Greene County softball improved to 9-17 with a three-inning 18-1 victory over St. Mary’s in Storm Lake on Monday night by the 12-run rule. St. Mary’s fell to4-11.

Emma Hoyle tossed a one-hitter with one walk and three strikeouts.The Rams played errorless ball behind Hoyle while the home team had five errors.

The Rams not only had a season high in runs scored, but they doubled five times, also a season best. Jenna Beyers, Kyla Beyers, Emma Stream, Karissa Stephenson, and Hoyle all doubled. Hoyle drove in four runs with three RBI by Jenna Beyers, and Kyla Beyers. There were two runs driven in for Stream, Stephenson, and one by Annalyn Baugh and Paige Teeples.
