A non-profit organization in Guthrie County is halfway between their annual donation drive.

Main Street Guthrie Center is sustained by the City’s as well as private donations to support the downtown community with family events, building renovation projects, and more. Main Street Guthrie Center Director Dana Buster says this year’s donation drive has been going well, though it has slowed down recently, “We have about two-thirds of the money that we need for our budget for the year raised, that still leaves us with about $15,000 that we need to raise before the end of the year here. Main Street runs strictly on donations so we are going to be working on our phase two of raising funds and hopefully coming up with the rest of the $15,000 that we need for our budget for the year.”

Main Street Guthrie Center has until the end of the calendar year to receive donations. The organization’s mission is to enhance economic vitality, promote historic preservation, and support community partnerships, ensuring a vibrant future for the city. For a link to donate, visit here.
