Greene County hopes to extend its three game baseball winning streak tonight in Dayton vs. non-conference opponent Southeast Valley. Coach John Hupp’s Rams are 8-16 on the season and 4-9 in Heart of Iowa Activities Conference play after winning at Nevada and Des Moines vs. Saydel, followed by a Saturday night 14-6 non-conference victory vs. Panorama. The Jaguars are 10-10 and have lost four of their last five games.

After tonight, the Rams are home Tuesday and Wednesday. Denison-Schleswig visits Allensworth Field tomorrow, then the Ogden Bulldogs visit on Wednesday. Both are non-conference games. Head coach John Hupp talked about the schedule this week. “With as hot as it is, it’ll be nice to get these three games in, then have a little break before coming back next Monday.”
