The results of the Greene County Farm Bureau and Jefferson Fareway’s Cram the Cab event were recently announced.

A total of $1,300 in monetary donations and 750-pounds of non-perishable food items were given to the Greene County Action Resource Center (ARC). The donations were made during the local Farm Bureau’s Cram the Cab event that was held at Jefferson Fareway. Customers were able to purchase $5, $10 or $20 bags of pre-packaged non-perishable food items. Customers could also make a straight monetary donation or round up to the nearest dollar when checking-out of the grocery store.

All of the food items were ones that the ARC specifically asked for. Greene County Farm Bureau thanks everyone who participated in the event.
