The ADM Baseball team will rematch with a team that it faced just a week ago as Boone will make their trip town to Adel for the second game of the season series between these two teams.

Just last Wednesday, ADM made the trip to Boone, and in hindsight, a game ADM should have been victorious.  Logan Crannell started on the mound for the Tigers in the first game against Boone, and threw a shutout in regulation.  ADM Head Coach, Jason Book, called Crannell’s efforts on the mound in that game a “gem” and that they certainly were.

ADM ended up picking up four runs in the top of the 8th frame as the game into extra innings, however Crannell, also, gave up four runs in the bottom of the 8th inning to send the game into the ninth.  Boone ended up scoring the winning run in the bottom of the ninth to give the Toreadors the win, 5-4.

ADM has been on a slide the past couple weeks, and will look to get back on the winning track tonight with Boone.  Tonight’s first pitch is scheduled for 7:30pm in Adel.
