Being the #1 ranked team in Class 4A Softball in the state of Iowa isn’t an easy feat.  Holding that top spot for the past six weeks, is even harder.

The Tigers can point to a few key reasons to their immense success this season.  Pitching by Junior, Abbie Hlas, and 8th Grader, Aliya Yanga has been exceptional.  Hitters are batting just a .171 , and Hlas and Yanga are posting impressive ERAs of 1.42.

The swing of the bats have also been key in the Tigers, as ADM is batting at team average of .359.  The top three batting averages for ADM are Junior, Abbie Hlas, with a very impressive .636, Junior, Emily Kay’s .583, and Senior, Emily Hatchitt as she’s notched a .426 with her stick.

Abbie Hlas, Sierra Wyant, Brooke Hickey, and 8th Grader, Brylee Person have each recorded home run blasts through this point in the season.

ADM Softball will be back in action tomorrow hosting Indianola in Adel.
