Wednesday, June 19th

9:39am: A Plains Area Mental Health worker requested a Welfare Check on a male in the 400 Block of East McKinley. The officer contacted the subject, who advised he was fine.

10:04am: A Postal carrier advised of a dog running freely in the 900 Block of West State Street. When the officer arrived, the animal had been taken inside.

3:01pm: Officers assisted the GC Ambulance with a Medical Call in the 700 Block of Wild Rose Lane.

4:31pm: Mary Norgart reported she had captured a dog that was running loose in the 300 Block of North Cedar Street. The officer picked up the animal and returned it to the owner in the area. A Verbal Warning was issued for, “Animal at Large Prohibited.”

5:31pm: An officer assisted a transient male with a ride to the GCMC ER after being requested to do so. He advised the officer he needed help with his Mental Health.

6:47pm: Julia McCollom reported a sick squirrel at 600 South Elm Street. The office dispatched the sick animal and removed it for the resident.

7:49pm: Bill George reported damage to vinyl siding at 406 North Vine Street. He believed the neighbors may have caused the damage. The officer found no evidence to support who, or what had damaged the siding.

11:10pm: A caller advised of Fireworks being set off in the 300 Block of South Pinet Street. The officer did not locate anything in the area.
